Definition

Let’s define happiness (\(H\)) as a function of three key factors: gratitude (\(G\)), purpose (\(P\)), and relationships (\(R\)):

\( H = \frac{G + P + R}{3} \)

This tells us happiness comes from a balance of these three elements. If one is weak, the others can still keep the average strong.

Example

If Gratitude = 6, Purpose = 4, and Relationships = 8:

\( H = \frac{6 + 4 + 8}{3} = 6 \)
